Huge number of smokers are searching the Internet on advice for finding a best way to stop smoking.
Let’s face it, smoking is an ugly habit, and it has come out of the “cool area” for quite some time now, probably never to return to it.
But if you are addicted to smoking, the non-smokers usually don’t understand that it’s not so easy to quit.
And because smoking is prohibited in most public places, when you are a smoker, you might feel like a real outsider. You get to feel rejected on top of all the other things that you have to deal with, while being a smoker.
Effects of Smoking
There are common side effects and perhaps also some side effects you might not be aware off. One of the most common ones is actually your body having smell of a cigarette smoke. Believe me, that really doesn’t help you out in the long run, especially if you are trying to be romantically involved with someone.
Who wants to kiss an ashtray?
Also, you loose your sense of smell, and with that you also loose your sense of taste.
Nothing tastes like before. Actually, the sense of taste is one of the best things to get back, once you stop smoking.
Well the best thing other then actually reducing the risk of dying and increasing the chance of living longer.
Effects on Wealth
And of course, there is the cost of smoking. It’s when you can actually say that your money has gone in the air. Gone with the smoke, now that’s a movie you are probably not that interested to check out.
According to this site the pack of cigarettes in the States costs anywhere between $5.25 and up to $12.85. But for the sake of math let’s say its even $6.00
If you smoked just 1 pack of cigarettes a day – you’d spend on average $2,190.00 per year.
Over just 5-years that adds up to $10,950.00
Over 10-years that adds up to $21,900.00
After 20-years you’d have “dumped” a full $43,800.00 on cigarettes!
Effects on Health
According to an article published on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cigarette smoking is the leading preventable cause of death in the United States.
Cigarette smoking causes more than 480,000 deaths each year in the United States. This is nearly one in five deaths.
Smoking causes more deaths each year than the following causes combined:
- Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
- Illegal drug use
- Alcohol use
- Motor vehicle injuries
- Firearm-related incidents
More than 10 times as many U.S. citizens have died prematurely from cigarette smoking than have died in all the wars fought by the United States during its history.
Smoking causes about 90% (or 9 out of 10) of all lung cancer deaths in men and women. More women die from lung cancer each year than from breast cancer.
When we start to take in all this information, perhaps the smart thing would be to simply decide to stop smoking?
Common Ways to Stop Smoking And Why They Don’t Work
- Go cold turkey
Although nice in theory, in practice it doesn’t really work. Studies show that more than 95% of the “smokers population” is not able to quit smoking using this way. And the answer why everyone fails is simple. Albert Einstein said you cannot solve a problem with the same level of consciousness on which the problem was created in the first place. Mark Twain also gave this method a try. He said “Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I know because I’ve done it thousands of times.”
- Work it out with a counselor or on your own with NLP, hypnotherapy, subliminal programming…
You will probably end up having expensive talk sessions or trying out some “tapes while sleeping”, paying insane amounts of money just to feel that feeling of “it didn’t work for me” in the end… If talking about smoking really worked, believe me, you would probably had the talk by now. If hypnotizing yourself also worked in the long run, nobody would be smoking today.
- Try nicotine replacement
This is going straight to the body to fix things, and you try to fill it up with nicotine, just changing the way of the intake. So we use nicotine gum, patches, inhalers, sprays… but the problem with this approach is that it does take some time, you have to deal with possible nicotine poisoning from the misuse, and also there is no guarantee it will work for you. Plus, if you are younger then 18 you probably need to get your doctors permission for this (red light anyone?).
And the statistics also don’t go into favor on this. The stop smoking cessation success rate from nicotine patches is documented (by The Journal of the American Medical Association) as just 10% to 12% (depending on the type of nicotine patch used).
- Take some drugs
Why would I want to replace one poison with another pois.. ups, I mean drugs. I really don’t want to. I want to be able to quit once and for all, and not be dependent on my doctor prescribing me something also potentially dangerous! I don’t want to fix one problem while creating another one.
OK sure, there are some people who have tried some of those ways and perhaps succeeded, but I am betting you are not in those 3-5%, otherwise you would not be here reading this post!
Now lets start from the beginning.
The real question that is the most important one to answer is actually this:
Why Do You Really Smoke?
Let’s face it. There is only one reason for this, and it’s the same reason as why you feel it is difficult to quit.
You smoke because it feels good.
Although a more accurate way to put it is that you smoke because YOU WANT to feel good and DON’T WANT to feel bad.
We could draw an even more accurate conclusion from this.
If you managed, somehow, to get rid of your negative feelings, like apathy, grief, fear, lust, anger and pride, you would no longer need the outside “fix” in the form of smoking.
And the more you managed to “pull up” and “dissolve” (or erase) your negative suppressed feelings, the lighter, happier and healthier you would become.
Isn’t that cool?
And finally, there is a way for you to do just that!
What Is The Way?
For several years now I suggest to everyone I know only one way of ending this habit for good.
I call it the best way to stop smoking.
And thousands have backed it up so far.
Using this technique is all about amplifying your “feel good” feelings.
In that way it will be very easy for you to stop smoking.
You will not have a feeling of being pushed or forced into fighting with smoking.
It will probably be effortless for you too.
This technique is called releasing. You can check it out here.
It is basically a fully digital online course that comes with the 30-day money back guarantee.
That guarantee means that even if somehow in 30 days it doesn’t work for you (which it will), you get all your money back.
And since there are no shipping fees, as it is an online course, what really do you have to loose for trying it out?
I hope you recognize that you have nothing to loose and everything to gain. But the decision has to come from you.
You have to be tired of messing around with all the ways that don’t work, and be ready to release this annoying habit for good.
And then you will probably be pointing your friends to their website too!
Conclusion
If you are still on the fence of visiting the site and trying out the method, please consider this.
I had extensive experience with this technique, and you can read a review I wrote about the creator of it.
The company claims that everyone who has applied this technique has been able, and very quickly, to quit smoking.
I believe that for one simple reason. This is not a product that is intended just for stopping yourself from smoking.
Dropping the cigarette is only ONE of the bunch of other pleasant side-effects that you get from using it!
I know from experience it worked for me, but then again I was no heavy smoker and smoking was not my main issue in life, that I was eager to get to the bottom of.
But I have met real people in several live classes and seminars who have told me that they have succeed in quitting smoking.
I can guarantee that these testimonials are truthful, and not some sales mumbo-jumbo.
“I was also able to stop smoking addiction I had for over 20 years. This course gave me the missing ingredient to go all the way. My son, Gabe, also had similar results, fast.” – Hermann Grunbaum, CA
“I had been a smoker for 23 years. I tried to stop smoking on a number of occasions with little success. I tried nicotine gum, going cold turkey, and cutting back. The desire to smoke remained strong. After taking the course, my desire to smoke began to fall away. I haven’t had a cigarette for a month. Even better, I haven’t even wanted one. I can comfortably spend time around people who are smoking without any desire to join in. I am now so unaffected by cigarettes that I feel like I never smoked. I highly recommend the course to anyone who wishes to be healthy, happy and free of self-limiting behavior and stop smoking.” – Paul Tatum, TX
It’s like I said, if you are ready to stop wasting time, money and your health on smoking, take the technique out for a spin and allow yourself to be surprised how quickly you stop smoking!
And after you try it out, please, please make sure to return to this site and post your results in the comments section below, as that will be helpful for others who want to stop smoking too!
I look forward seeing you on the smoke-free side.

Awesome post, thank you so much! I’m so glad I found it because my boyfriend has been trying to quit smoking, in vain… but after reading your article I’m pretty confident he’ll find answers to his question and enough motivation to free himself from the nasty cigarette!
Cheers
Sarah
Hi Sarah!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with the rest of us. When it comes to dealing with nasty habits (such as smoking) that our loved ones have, it can be pretty slippery territory ;). I strongly believe that you always need to choose to change because you, for yourself, have decided to do that. Changing because others insist on change, will probably not work in the long run, and of course will create resentments and unhappiness in one who felt pushed or forced to change. The answer is simple, provide all the necessary information, and allow the other person to choose to change with love.
I am glad you found the article useful, after all the purpose of this site is Motivation for a better life! 🙂
Hope to see you again,
Regards!
